No. Ascend Academy is a public charter school and is not affiliated with any religious organization.
Are you part of Kingdom Builders International?
No. While we share a building, Ascend Academy operates completely independently. We do not share staff, curriculum, or programming.

Ascend Academy will open in August 2026.
Are you a public or private school?
We are a public charter school. That means we are tuition-free and held to Michigan state academic standards.
Who can enroll?
Any student in Michigan is eligible to apply. Enrollment is open to all families, no testing or prior qualifications required.
What grade levels will you serve?
We will serve grades K–5 in our opening year, with plans to grow in future years.

No. Ascend Academy is completely tuition-free.

School begins at 8:15 AM and ends at 3:15 PM.
